Literally no problems (except maybe those dang kitchen cabinet knobs that always catch your pants!). Our stay was fantastic and we will be staying here again. I'd still recommend this property to someone but warn them of the water challenges at this property. You also lose pressure pretty fast, so make sure your showers are quick! Honestly, the water was enough to turn me away from renting here again, but I was overall very happy with the rental and the hot tub made the cold weekend more than bearable. They use a well and the well water smells like rotten eggs when you shower or clean dishes in the sink. It's close enough to Traverse City that I never felt like I was too far from civilization, but separated enough from other properties that we felt alone the entire extended weekend. Instructions were clearly visible on property maintenance, check-out, etc. The property was clean upon arrival and felt homey. Were the weather nicer during our stay, one of our visiting friends said they would have loved to cast a fishing rod off the deck into the river - it's that close. Less than 10 minutes from Jets Pizza and China Lee if you feel like dining in. 15 miles from Interlochen Center for the Arts. Located just 10 miles from the down town area of Traverse City. There is a canoe/kayak portage is just minutes down the road or launch from the property on a slower part of the river. There is a charcoal grill for your outdoor cooking needs (charcoal not provided)! Hop in one of the three kayaks provided for you and find where the river goes! If you're feeling like warmer water, take a dip in the hot tub located on the deck. Outdoors, enjoy the spacious deck with a great view of everything, the river just feet away.

There is a futon in the living area as well. A small loft that is accessible by ladder located above the living room (best for older kids/young adults) has a twin bed.
